Claudia González Soto,

MA, MS, LMHC

My career as a counselor in mental health began in 1992, when I finished my university studies at the Universidad del Norte, in Barranquilla, Colombia. Since then, I have continued my education in the United States.

In 2004, I completed my Master’s degree in Mental Health with an emphasis in Couples and Family Therapy at the University of Central Florida, UCF. Since then, I have worked with families, adults, children, and groups.

My second master’s degree is in Clinical Psychology at Carlos Albizu University, where I gained experience in the academic evaluation of children.

My interest in the media led me to finish my Master’s in Journalism at FIU and I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Psychology at the Universidad del Norte.

My therapeutic practice includes the spiritual aspect because man has a body, mind, behaviors, and emotions, but he also has a spiritual entity that leads him to connect with the universe and with other human beings.

Are you willing to change?

People who recognize a problem are the only ones who will be willing to take the first step.
